Environment

Because the dinnerware we use is chopsticks, the people in our country need to cut more trees to produce chopsticks. But it is not good for our environment. Recently, the Taiwan government has advocated that citizens bring their own chopsticks which are not disposable when they go out to have dinner. However, when I had lunch in the student center, I saw many foreign students applying plastic forks and spoons, which surprised me. Because it is a basic part of our environment, it should start from individuals of every country. Also, some countries always say that other countries produce more pollution and they should try to stop using too much energy, but how about themselves? Moreover, I saw many Americans driving big vehicles, which waste a lot of energy and harm the environment. I think it is very contradictory because the American government is always the loudest speaker. They always say that we have to protect the environment. But if we don’t start from our daily lives, how should we save the entire environment?
