Conservation of Saker Falcon

Abstract

The topic of my paper is how to preserve the Saker falcon from extinction. It argues that the population of the Saker falcon is decreasing, and they are highly in danger of extinction. Consequently, it proposes solutions as to what people should do in order to preserve this falcon and increase its population. There are three reasons for choosing this particular topic. Firstly, the Kazakhstan government has allowed people to hunt the Saker falcon for cash. Since this is partly responsible for diminishing the Saker falcon population, we need to change this law and habit. There should be a repeal of that law and an amnesty needs to be declared to prevent the killing of these birds. Secondly, the breeding farms which practice Saker falcon breeding must be supported by the government of Kazakhstan with the purpose of increasing the falcon population and keeping them from extinction. Thirdly, the ornithologists should provide a good environment for Saker falcons that will help them flourish undisturbed by man and other predators. Certain areas need to be declared as wildlife reserves where hunting of the Saker falcon particularly and other endangered species are strictly forbidden.
