Abstract
The topic of this paper is elimination of medical mercury-containing devices. It argues that some medical programs have tried to eliminate medical mercury devices in most hospitals, and they should succeed in their plans. There would be three benefits to doing this. First, elimination of mercury devices in hospitals reduces the waste of mercury. Second, it protects the health of healthcare workers. Finally, it prevents spills of mercury.
