Killer Whales Want to Survive

Abstract

Killer whales have a lot of problems that drive them toward extinction, such as lack food, pollution, boat stress, female decrease, and unclean sea surface. This paper argues that people should protect killer whales from extinction in several ways. First, because people killed the orcas’ diet in the past, they should provide food for them. Next, scientists should focus on female killer whales, because if they are dead, that means the killer whales will become extinct. Finally, people should clean up the top of the seawater to protect these animals from air pollution, which came from human activity.

Soccer In USA

Soccer is my favorite sport, so the first thing I did when I came here to the US is find out where I would I play. I really enjoy playing soccer in the US because they have many nice fields, they have many players with different nationalities, and we can play without a referee. First, in my country we do not have grass fields free because we should pay to play on them, but in the US I am surprised because we have more than ten grass fields in Carbondale. In my country almost all the fields are sand, and they get muddy when it rains. Also, if we want to play on a grass field, we should rent the field for two hours to play and that is very expensive for us, because we play twice a week. Next, I enjoy playing with people from many different countries, because every country has a special background in playing soccer. For example, I know someone he does not move on the field a lot, but he passes the ball wonderfully. I admire his way of playing soccer. Finally, I had a strange feeling when I played the first time because there was no referee on the field. In my country we should have a referee, because there are many problem that happen, such as offside problem. In US everyone is referee on the field, which means if someone makes a soccer mistake, he should tell us honestly. In conclusion, I like the way they play here because it is easier than in my country.

Chicago City

The city I want to talk about contains the highest building in United States (US), which was the highest building in world before ten years ago. This city is Chicago in Illinois State, which is one of the biggest cities in US. There are three reasons why I recommend my friends or classmates to go to Chicago. First, there are a lot of museums in Chicago, such as science museum, historical museum, and art museum. It is really great idea to see many new things in those museums. Next, if you can go to the Aquarium, it is very useful because you can see all kinds of sea animals, for example, turtle, fish, and so on. This is the interesting thing I recommend to my classmates this term to go to, because it is related to our research paper topic. Finally, they can go to Millennium park; it is really wonderful. You can see different chaps in this park. There is something their like a big mirror ball, you can take a good photo to yourself. In conclusion, you should visit this city if you have not yet because you can see many museums, you can find your sea animals in the aquarium and you can have fun in Millennium Park. So , you should try to go there.
