Urbanization VS. Endangered amphibians

I am experienced with endangered amphibians. When I lived in Korea, a company tried to build a new apartment town. It was a problem for the company, because its land was a green-belt area before the building permission. So its large land already had special amphibians. Lots of environmental experts claimed that the company should move to another area instead of the amphibians’ habitat. However, the company possessed the land, so it refused environmental expert’s claim. Thus several civic groups joined the experts and they argued with the company about the amphibians’ survival. After one year, they reached an agreement that the company would make a concession. Half of the land would make a nice conditional park where amphibians and other living things lived. Probably if people go there now, they can see the special amphibians.
