Abstract
This paper argues that Ford should not stop selling the oil-dawdled cars. First, if the company stops selling them, Ford will make no profit, like a charity organization. Second, there is no moderate replacement of the truck. Third, Ford has a huge number of competitors. Therefore, Ford should not stop the trucks and SUVs .

YouTube should control its clips before they are released. This paper argues for the best ways to control those clips. First, YouTube should control its clips by making a fee for subscription. Second, YouTube should control its clips by making a partnership with many companies to manage clips. Third, the governments should have some degree of control over YouTube.

Abstract
The topic of this paper is the argument about causing problems by trading cyber money with real money. It argues that trading cyber money can make several problems in our society, but through several solutions, it can be new a market system in the future market. There are three reasons for this argument. The first is that the company and government have to regulate policies and rules to prevent an imbalanced market system, and the second is that the company and government have to restrict online trading. Abstract
The topic of this paper is Shell. this paper argues Shell, which made deceptive advertisements without showing defective product. This paper argues that people will live better if their governments put more restrictions on Shell Company. There are many reasons for this argument: people need good environment for health, employees in Shell need more care, and people need cheap oil. CESL
I’m very glad to enter CESL, and proud that I’m going to graduate from it. However, it is true that CESL has still room for improvement. First, their program is good, but their schedule is not good, because some classes start at 8 every day. In fact, my university doesn’t have class such early morning class. I don’t know how many times my friends wake me up, and I wake them up. Second, in CESL program, students who can’t get 520 on the TOEFL should attend EAP2 class again; therefore, there are too many students in EAP2 class. It makes class work slow; actually one class moved on first, but the other moved slowly in this term. Finally, CESL should maintain projectors and other electronic devices. I remember many times these didn’t work, and CESL teachers were upset. They have high technology machines, so they shouldn’t waste them. Cesl needs some changes about these problems.

CESL helps international students to study language and go to university to be successful. It is very good for international students. But we have some advice for CESL. CESL teaches English sometimes and is too easy for students, or not at the right level, so this make some students not want to come to classes. But they pass the classes because they are good at this level. Now I hope CESL can have the correct level for students. Tests check whether students are good at their level; tests are very important. But some students are not good at tests, but they can understand what people said and have no communication problem; they just can not pass the class. Some of students pass the class and get a very high score, but they have problems with communication. So here CESL needs to help students; not only should it let them pass the class, but they also need communication with American students. These are my two pleas of advice for CESL.

CESL
First of all, I think that CESL has a professional program. But, as you know, the CESL should study and develop its programs every year. The development should contain materials, teachers and classes. In addition, it should study the best way to improve students’ skills; and I am sure that CESL does that yearly. In my opinion, there are some skills students should know about. First, Improve students’ speaking. That would be successful, if CESL gave students some private classes just for speaking (teacher and one student talking together for one hour a day). Second, general idioms (street idioms). As we know, teachers and students speak academic language; the problem is when I talk to American people outside of CESL, usually we don’t understand each other. So, I think the idioms are very important for CESL’s students.

First of all, as we know a second language is not easy for anybody, especially if he does not have any background in these new languages. CESL is one of the best places that help the international students to learn English as a second language. However, as we know it is not easy for any program to teach another language for international students. We as international students sometimes face many problems with the CESL system; maybe the management can not see it, but we can see the difference. We need to give CESL some advice, namely first, the TOEFL exam is not the only exam that evaluates the students; for example, what can he do if he gets height grade in the class, and he passes but he fail in the TOFEL this is not fair. Second, CESL should look at what is good for the students. For example, they shouldn’t let the students repeat the level three times because if he fails in one class, this makes the student lose his skills, and feel bored. They should care about the student’s feeling, and look for which classes he did well at and pass him. Also, if he fails in one of the classes, he needs to repeat only the classes that he fails in, not all the level. Third, the time is very important, and CESL do not care about this issue. For example, the students have classes from 9:00 until 5:00, and the next day he have to study for a quiz, do homework or take a nape? What he can do? He does not have time for all of things thing to do them at the same time. Students spend all the day at school and when they get back home, they start that other school; CESL does not give them time to relax or to refresh, and this is too much for international students who want to learn English.

To sharpen one’s English in CESL is the best choice. I have studied language training there since two month ago. It branches into six levels to provide a suitable program for everyone. Students must arrive at the standard by examination to get the ticket into next level. To learn English in CESL is comfortable, effective, and more practiced. However, there is a problem in my mind. The trouble is there are over 15 people in the EAP2 class. It does not comply with principles that each class is under 15 students. If the student numbers are over the red line, it will affect the quality of study, especially the presentation class. Following this reason, my advice is to obey the policies in the future terms. Also, I hope CESL can open pronunciation class every term, because it will correct our pronunciation better.

In Korea, many people try to learn English, and actually, many companies in Korea require a foreign language skill. CESL in Carbondale is one of the centers where a foreigner can learn English. However, today’s CESL system is more focused on how to study in university or college. Some students may need to learn how to make conversations with Americans more than how to study in a University. During the CESL semester, it is too difficult to find any other way that many students could learn about the real U.S.A. Some students might improve reading and writing skill, but they cannot chat with a native speaker, even though they have studied in CESL for 1 or 2 years. I think that CESL should have more a specific speech program in its semester, and they have to figure out how make foreign students improve their speech skill. Furthermore, through various activities, make people feel more interested in learning English.

CELS is a plac where foreigners can pratice and learn about the English program. Many students come to the English program and improve their skills abou the new language they are learning. But what i noticed is that they try to lose focus on what they should teach students. Their program is a good one even though it helps students about their real life at college. They keep students in CESL for nothing. Students do not have time to focus and get prepared for the TOEFL. This is what i noticed and it is a real problem for students. They should try to let students focus and learn skills about the TOEFL exam. The TOEFL exam is a difficult exam an we, as students, know what it is about. Teachers are already citizens and they don't mind doing what they are told to. They have to review their policies and approve a good program for the TOEFL class. I went for some TOEFL class but it was not interesting. I did not like the program. They really should try to change their program and stop bombing students with their stupids things like unnecessary chapters.

CESL New Program
We come to study English here. However, as you know, CESL classes’ schedule and homework are terrible, especially high level classers. Our class starts at 8 o’clock am. Moreover, we have hard and a lot of homework almost every day. We have to fight with the homework every night; we do not enough time to play and talk with friends. That is why we look stressful and tired every day. We surely know it is necessary to sturdy English. However, I think we do not have to sturdy hard so much. I think if CESL has students’ communication classes or something like that, the CESL program would be getting better. This class is organized by students; the teacher does not teach unless students ask something. Or, a class in which all level’s students can communicate with each other is also good. This class’s aim is to progress one’s speaking and listening skills, and get close to different countries people. I think these relaxing things are needed for CESL students. I believe these classes would be very useful.

CESL can be better
CESL provides opportunity for international students to improve their English and CESL has experience in this area. However, it also has something that can be better. In my opinion, CESL should change the social activities’ style. I have been here for nearly four months; I noticed that almost every CESL activity is only joined by CESL student; that does not mean CESL did not invite others, but CESL just focused on their own students, so it was hard for others to join in. Therefore, CESL should invite some Americans. In this way, students could learn what a real American life style is; also, they can improve their English fast. Moreover, CESL is supposed to open some classes that teach students how to adapt to American life and what the style of American life is. Also, it could have some classes which teach other countries’ cultures; international students would be teachers at this time. They could teach their classmates their counties’ living style and culture. In this way, students could get lots of knowledge, not only of one country but also of several countries in the world.

YouTube Censorship
Abstract
YouTube is a famous website that people upload videos onto or get information from. This paper argues that although there are many controversial issues such as violence, sexuality, religions, and countries, YouTube should have its censorship standard to satisfy people around the world. It should not try to change its own standard regulation in order to cater to only a few people or countries.

Starbucks' Greenwashing
Abstract
This paper’s argument is that Starbucks’ beans are not so green. It argues that Starbucks is not really going green because it has some problems of quality. There are four reasons for this argument. The first is that Starbucks is not doing enough compared to what they claim, and the second is that the ingredients of Starbucks coffees do not conform to the OCA’s (the Organic Consumers Association) standard. The third reason is that the milk of Starbucks coffee has problems. Finally, the Starbucks’ workers’ income is illegally low.

CESL Problems
CESL has a good program and good strategies to teach the students English. Also they have nice plans for trips or activities. But the problem is that they sometimes and in some situations are too strict. For example; when the student repeats the same level three to four times, the students will get bored from the class, then they will not give any attention, because if the student repeats the class three times they going to get back to the same book and same subjects that they went through. Also, most if they change the schedule for the trips and plan for a nice trip that everybody can have fun with. Finally, as for the class hours, in CESL we had so many hours that sometimes we can not attend some of these classes, because sometimes we have something to do, either an appointment or anything else, so CESL should look at these schedules and get the students fewer hours so they can work well.

CESL
CESL should change three things for current and future students. First, it should announce activities earlier to students. CESL tells students activities one week before an activity. Students already have some plans and they cannot go. If CESL tells about activities two weeks before, many people can join in fun activities. Next, CESL should reduce class hours. CESL in SIUC has too much class. Other ESL centers do not have that much. Some students have to get high grades because they are exchange students. Some students cannot go to other ESL centers. Because we have too much class, it is difficult for students to get high grades. Last, students do not need to buy textbooks and to take TOEFL. I have many friends who are going to other ESL centers. Some of them don’t buy textbooks. They use handouts that teachers give. Some do not take the TOEFL, either. They take a free test which teachers made. Only students who want to take TOEFL do that. Students spend a lot of money to study in CESL, and the cost of living in the U.S. is more expensive than some countries. For these reasons, CESL should improve these three things for students.

CESL
CESL has to change many things in its program. They have to change the program to make it easier for the students. They have to change the number of the levels that they have. They have to give the students more chances to pass the level that they are in. The students should take the TOEFL exam every semester to show if they have improved their English or not. When they take the TOEFL every semester they will have practice in the TOEFL. CESL also should change the grid that they need from students to pass the level from 80% to at least 70% to give the students a better chance to pass. When the students pass, they will have more confidence in themselves. They should give the students one more chance if they do not pass the first time, like if they take the writing exam, and reading exam but they just pass in one lecture, they should give them one more chance to do the lecture that they failed in. These are some pieces of advice for CESL, that they should do to make the students more happy and make them like to be in CESL.

CESL
CESL has been set up for many years. No matter whether it is successful or not, it has been teaching so many international students that most of them may have got out of the University or even have got a job. Generally speaking, whatever they feel about CESL, one thing that is probably in their mind is that they appreciate what CESL taught them. However, there will be more and more international students who come to CESL. How can we make them feel that it is simple to obtain the benefits robber in CESL while studying in CESL? First, the context should be changed to something more interesting, but not always the environment or business. We can use some magazines as the textbook, such some sport magazines or some interesting newspapers. What the students are need is just the English. Anything related to English and written in English could be the textbook to teach them English, but not the stereotype of the comment of the textbook all the time. Of course, the more reused the textbook, the better the teacher would teach, but it is obvious the teachers felt bored with the textbook. All the students and teachers need is fresh material. Second, the more activity there is, the better students will learn. The activity is just practicing English in their life. The international students come from different countries and they have different backgrounds and different cultures. If they could take a 10 hours long flight to America to study, they would not be lack of academic English but “Living English”. So CESL needs to show more information about the United States to them to help them adapt to Americans` life. For example, today if the teachers teach the name of various kinds of vegetables, CESL should take the students to Walmart which could be considered the best classroom for the students to learn. That will be more interesting to the students and motivate them to study English. Third, CESL should make all the rules clear with the students such as the tuition fee, the passing rule of CESL and its connection with the university. For example, one of my friends got a problem, she had got a high TOEFL score and entered EAP2, and some rules showed that she could take part time university, but after she talked with the officer, she could not do that because it was her first time to be in EAP2. That sounds strange, maybe they thought she was not ready, but why not give her a chance? Probably, she would do a fabulous job. Thereby, CESL should make some changes to work better.

Carbondale & area
The driving in Carbondale is very different than the driving in my country. We do not have women drivers in my home country. People do not care about the police; everyone does what he wants to do. We can say that everyone has his roles. It is usual to see some people who pass the red sign, or who do not stop at the stop sign. I heard that today the police have become more extreme about people who do not follow the law. I like the driving here in Carbondale, because everybody follows the police rules. We do not see many accidents like in my country. I just do not like one thing here. The one thing that I do not like is when I went to get the driver license it took a long time from me. When I get the drivers license I feel like I am a student who is getting a bachelor’s degree.

carbondale
The first thing comes to my mind at the first time I got to carbondale was "this in not America". It does not look like the movies that I used to see. It is small with no big buildings. On my way to U.S I thought that I would see many celebrities everywhere, even in Carbondale. It was like a sweet dream, but everything changed. I really like Carbondale as it is. I can feel the happiness and the quietness. People in Carbondale are not like the poeple in the cities, poeple here are very kind and friendly. I really came from a big city with skyscrapers and thousands of cars and people and that's what makes Carbondale really special to me.

FOOD IN US
Usually food in the first thing that people like to know about if they go somewhere in this world. American people like to taste the Asian food. Arabic people like to find out how the western food is. Whoever, food is food, but what makes it different are the spices that people use in their food or the way that the food is cooked. In Bahrain we like seafood, but the way we cook our seafood is totally different from what they do in the Far East. Moreover, in Bahrain we like all kinds of spices. We inherited our experience in how and when to use the spices from India and Iran. I have been in the U.S for more than one year. Food here is totally different from food in Bahrain, because American people do not like spices in their food. I missed my favorite food, which is medium size fish with rice and vegetable salad for dinner. Usually people like to have that dish for their lunch but I prefer it for the dinner. I like the fish to be fried and well done with rice and vegeatable as a side dish.

FOOD IN CARBONDALE
In Carbondale there are not enough places to buy food, that is what makes Wal-Mart an interesting place to go to. What makes Wal-Mart interesting is that you can find everything in one place, food in different kinds and sizes fresh food, frozen food, fruits. Also they have different sections for international food, European food, Indian food and Jewish food, which is all in one place. Once you go to Wal-Mart you don't need to go to another place to buy food.

NATURE
I have visited many different countries all over the world. But, what makes Carbondale different from other places it the nature. Nature in Carbondale is very different because it is in the midwest. People of Carbondale told me that southern illinois has unique trees and it looks like the south's trees; also, they have less nature to the north and all that because of the unique location in Carbondale you will find forests, hills and vales; all this diversity has made Carbondale beautiful and has given it plenty of rich scenic landscape. National parks in Carbondlale are good exampls of the diversity of nature in this spot. In addition, the diversity of wildlife of this city is another aesthetic dimension.

Chatting, is that the homework?
It is difficult to finish homework while doing some other things, such as chatting, watching movies or searching the Internet because you can not be concentrated on your work. I do my homework I this way usually, so I know a lot of it. When you start chatting with someone, your attention is grabbed on the topic, but not your homework. When you realize that you have to do your homework, you maybe finish chatting. However, when another old friend see you online, you will start talking with him or her again. Your homework is always delayed and actually you only spend 10 minutes on your homework per hour. On the other hand, if you watch a movie, it will be more serious because you will not spend 10 minutes per hour on your homework, you will look at the screen for almost two hours. After that, if the film motivates your appetite for wtching action movies, you will probably watch another two or three. So it seems you have to do your homework, which will spend you a few hours to finish, until dawn if you are a good student. Therefore, it is not a good idea to do other interesting things when you are working on your homework, because you need to concentrate and you will find that you have several hours to watch movies after finishing the homework and before you should go to bed.

Homework and Doing Other Things at the Same Time
Do you do something else while doing your homework? I don’t recommend doing that because you can’t finish your homework faster. Yesterday, I had a lot of homework: reading 20 pages of a novel, reading five pages of a textbook, and studying for a test. However, I didn’t want to do that. I listened to music while reading a novel, and I can read slowly. I did not get the story through my head. Rock music is the worst to listen to while you are doing your assignment. Then, I turned on the TV. Six people were trying to get out of a sinking ship. I couldn’t read at all, and I turned off the TV. If you do your homework, you should not do other things.

In my opinion, it is not easy to do homework when I am doing other things at the same time. Because it is hard to pay attention to several things, just focus on only one thing is the most efficient way. When I was watching YouTube, it was hard for me to do my homework quickly, because the scene distracted my attention from study. I was trying to study but it did not work. It is also difficult to do homework when I am chatting with others. I pay more attention to the person who I talked with so that I cannot focus on the homework. I just think about what I should say and what we are talking about. My brain has no space to think about the homework. Therefore, it always takes me a long time to do my homework when I am chatting or watching YouTube.

How to make doing your homework easy.
We have to do our homework before or at the time that we have to finish the homework on. but there are different ways that can make doing your homework easy. The best way to do it and to help you to make doing your homework easier is to chat with other people or watch YouTube or go out a littel bit. The only reason that doing these things makes doing your homework easier is because it looks like a break time that you have to relax. Also these things make it easier, because when we just focus on our homework we will get to be tired and we will not be able to do the other homework we have. So, when we have break time, when we can do whatever we want, we will not be tired and our mind will be clear to think. Moreover, sometimes from these things you can ask for information about your homework, that means while you are taking break time you are doing your homework too. For example, I have a research paper that I have to do and the topic is about Direct TV; somedays while I am writing I take a break time and I watch videos on YouTube about my topic, and these videos help me out a lot with my research paper to get some information and use it with the research paper.

When I'm doing homework
I need silence when I am doing homework. It depends on what kind of subject; especially when I am writing paper, I turn off the TV, radio, and computer. However, when I am reading a textbook or novel, I need some noise around me. I imagine the story which is I’m reading, so if I hear some noise, I put that in my imagination. I used to need complete silence when I was doing homework, but after I noticed that I don’t like the library, I mastered this way. Actually I used to love the library for readings, and I went there three times or more a week. However, library prohibits eating, drinking, and chatting, pretty much I can’t do anything except studying. Nevertheless, some people are eating food, drinking water, and chatting in a loud voice. Also, I noticed I couldn’t stand complete silence; when I’m in completely silence, it makes me go crazy. Sometimes it makes me laugh, be nervous, and shout. Therefore, I quit going to the library, and I found another way to concentrate on studying. So, when I am doing homework, I go back my house and keep quiet. On the other hand, I turn on the TV or radio or some kind of music when I am reading.

Homework and the other things
Actually, I don't think it's easier to do homework when I'm doing other things in the same time. It's not easy to concentrate on my work. Especially, chatting makes me loose. Whenever I am so sleepy, I'm listening to the music or radio at the same time. This way helps me to wake up; however, it makes me sleepier sometimes. Than, I'm watching YouTube videos. YouTube has many Korean TV shows, so I love it. But sometimes I couldn't stop watching videos; that's the problem. Thus, the easiest way is just listening to the radio or music. The best way is to do just homework. These kinds of things, for example, listening or watching somthing or chatting, could bother me when doing homework.

Youtube
I usually watch one or two YouTube movies in a single day. YouTube networking system provides many kinds of movies and programs, which are made by users who are usually not specialists in making movies or any kinds of programs. Nowadays, we can get the service in which something is different from usual broadcasting programs. So, usually I watch YouTube when I want to watch weird and bizarre things. For example, there are many sources, like U.F.O. and alien, or funny movies, which are made by users. On the other hand, YouTube supplies us information about all over the world. For example, we can get news, which are about other countries. It can give me more ideas about other countries’ situation and culture. Furthermore, I can get the information of what other people think about it by comment.

YouTube
I watch many YouTube clips per day. My schedule is kind of hard. I am also finding a job on the Internet. I am studying for employment exams and writing resumes besides homework. Japanese junior and senior students do these for finding a job. This term is kind of hard for me. I use YouTube to reduce stress. My friends, both American and Japanese, like watching YouTube almost every day, so many young people must like it now. YouTube is fun and convenient because we can find various kinds of clips. For example, it has movies, video dramas, soccer games, fashion shows, CESL clips or more. I usually watch a few funny clips and laugh.

Eating cultural
Do you know that there are many differences in the ways of eating between the different cultures? I will show you the differences in the ways of eating between my home country and the U.S. You know about the U.S. people, that when they eat they sit in the chair and stay together around the table. In my home country we stay on the ground and make a circle around the food. The whole family eats from one big dish. They cannot start before the oldest one of the family starts. When they finish their meal they stay together and drink tee. They talk with their parents about their life and if they have problems they talk with them. The parents have a chance to help their children or to solve their problem if they have one. I missed those things, and I hope to finish studying here and go back to my country and sit with my family and eat from one dish.

Technology has changed people’s lives!
I strongly believe that without the technology people are handicapped. Imagine, without electricity, can we work properly? In same way without computer people are also in trouble. Nowadays people have new fundamental ideas about email, picture messages, Facebook, Orcut, live messenger in their routine life. These are the part of their daily life.
My opinion says that these social networking sites are really very easy to use and to have conversations in these networking sites save people’s time as well as money. I can email to my family, friends, business fellows, teachers, and everyone who is connected with these social networking sites. For example, I came to the USA 7 months ago and I didn’t have any contacts with my friends by cell phone, but I got in touch by e-mail. It’s free, Time saving and very fast service. People love these social networking sites. Live messenger is an advanced example of e-mail, because I can chat and talk to an other person who is online with me. Using Facebook I can make new good friends and I can build strong relationships with them that is the most beneficial part of the social networking sites, moreover, I can share my photos and videos too. Before four years ago I was totally blank about technology, but now I feel that I am the king of my technology world.

Internet shopping problems
Now people can shop from the Internet instead of going to the mall. But the problem is that shopping from the Internet is more volatile that shopping at the mall, so I would like to give some advice that can help the people care about their money more than they do. People should look at the websites and if they are fake or not before they put their credit or Visa Card number in, because some of the hackers can make a fake page and use it for stealing people's Credit or Visa Card number and steal your money too. Also people should have a security program to block the strange websites and strange messages that can let the other people see your card information. Moreover, some of the people who shop from the Internet do not go to the malls and shop there, because they think the Internet stores are cheaper than the malls, but my advice is that they have to compare the prices between the prices in the Internet and the prices in the Malls, because sometimes the Malls have nice discounts for people. So if the prices are cheaper in the Mall it is better to go and shop there more than the Internet. Also when people shop from the Internet they should put the right address and the right iinformation in because people might lode their stuff if they are going to put in the wrong information. Finally, do not shop in front of somebody that you don't know well, because he or she might steal the card number and use it.

"famous" problem
My famous singer is Andy Liu. He is a famous Chinese singer. In public eyes, he is charming, because of his appealing voice and handsome appearance. However, in my eyes, he has a high reputation, but he is not happy but tired. Now, he is almost 50 years old, but he is still single. Why? He is a celebrity and he has no time to share with his girlfriend or family. Maybe every day he can only sleep for 4 hours. It is not an easy job to be famous. Also, you can say what you want to say and do what you want to do because what you say and what you do will influence a lot of fans. They may run after you, which is called fashion. In addition, the biggest trouble is that the star never feels what is freedom is. There are always some people with cameras who trace them and peek at their private lives. Why does this happen to the famous person. Because they are famous, and that means their special information is worth a lot of money. According to the supply and demand law, if there is a kind of demand, someone will probably supply the demand. Even though the celebrities have a haircut, it would be the headline of the newspapers just because they are famous. If one day they become the same as us, they will never meet those kind of problems. Therefore, to solve the “famous” problem, one should not be famous at all.

Cell phone ring problem
Now people use cell phone all the time, we can talk with people on the phone all of the time. But some places have too much noise, when people call us, we can not hear the phone ring, or some of places are very quite that the ring is too loud. So now we have one problem about the phone ring. Some times cell phone ring will make people very angry, like when you are in class, and suddenly your friend calls you about weekend plans; the ring is too loud. At that moment, your classmate and teacher will be very angry with you. Maybe you are on the way to your office, and it is very loud outside so you are worried about who will call you, you make the volume loud, but you forget turn off it when you arrive at the office. If your phone rings, a lot of people will be angry. Some cell phone’s rings are very loud, so in public places it will make people angry. We cannot control when your friends will call you, but we can control the phone ring volume, and give people a peaceful public place.

Now the technology is developing faster and faster. Internet is covering the whole world. So you can easily communication with your friends at any time and any place. Now we have a lot of new words, like blog. Everybody uses blogs all the time. Now it changed my life a lot. Before I came to the US, I always worried about my Chinese friends, because I thought it would be more expensive to call friends. But I found I am wrong when I came here. Using blog just requires the Internet, and then you can talk with your friends all the time. You can type what you want to say on your blog ‘wall’, and a couple later, they will answer me. Sometimes when I feel sad, I will write a diary. My friends will know what I am doing now and know whether I am ok. So these change me a lot, and I can communicate with my friends all the time, we will never forget each other. So Facebook and My Space is a bridge of communication with my friends and me.

Benefits of the internet communication
A few years ago, we had just only a few ways to contact with friends and family. Letters and other post system were the only solutions to contact in long distance relationship. However, as the computer technology system developing, many people use other systems to make contact. Like Facebook is one popular system to socialize for young people. They share the information about papers and homework through the networking system; also, they can ask about problems with their work with online friends. Actually, it does not require separate times to meet classmates, because if they have a computer and a networking system, they can discuss things in the same time on the Internet. The online socializing system changes the aspect of our communication system.
It is a very good change, because we can talk with our friends and families wherever we are, and we can use it for free. Furthermore, people can make pen pal friends more easily, but it does not require pencil and paper; also, it can make that expanding our idea of other cultures through socializing with other countries’ friends.

First, Facebook is a social security network that connects you to people around you or your area. As many other social networking sites do Facebook helps us connect with friends, chat with friends and other things. It has changed my way of living in that, i can use Facebook to communicate instead of using my cell phone. It saves money and is very helpful. It is one benefit of the technology that we have to experience, because in the future many people will rely on that. I actually have many friends that use Facebook, and we all communicate by that option. Today's generation is based on technology, and i have noticed that many teenagers are very familiar with Facebook but it is not common with the rest of society. we can communicate everywhere in the world with this kind of technology, and we actually love it. I heard some friends say that it helped him get a new girlfriend. It is incredible what social networking can provide to such individuals people like us.

Social Networking Place in My Life
Five years ago, I started to use a social networking place in my country with my friends. At that time, it was getting popular, and it was very fun for us. We bought a digital camera, and took pictures every time for updating on the networking place. We visited that place with each other every day to check the pictures and write comments. It was really fun, and it made us connected all day. However, I don't care about the social networking place now, because it takes my time more and more, and it often happens that my privacy is exposed by social networking. I still have my own networking place, but I don't often check and update it. I need just to enjoy it; it's not that big part of my life now. I think it's good for me. But sometimes it's still useful, because of a change of our society.

Facebook changed my life in many ways. First, it is easy and fun. I found out about Facebook after I came to the U.S. Before, I used Mixi (from Wikipedia), which is like Facebook and which many people use in Japan. However, Mixi does not have as many functions. We can just send messages, write in a diary or join communities. We can do many things on Facebook, and it is easy for non-English speakers to use. Next, we can keep in touch with many people who live in faraway places. Many people go to CESL and graduate faster, so we can’t contact them without Facebook. For these reasons, Facebook is useful.

What advice would you give somebody who is going to shop online?
Today online shopping is coming up big in the marketplace. I've also done online shopping sometimes. However, consumers need to know that some online shopping malls are fake. So, I want to give some advice about how we can buy safe products. First, you need to check the company's fame. If company is new or there is not much concumer history, you should consider whether the company is a stable market or not. Second, if the market's price is too cheap, you should suspect why the product is cheap before you buy. Last, if you find a nice product, at least think twice before you purchase. Last one is most important because if you buy something too quickly, it might not like it after you use it. So you need to make sure whether you really like it or not. If you consider all of the above, you will buy good products. -MOON-

The Facebook website makes me closer to my friends and my family too. Also this website has changed people's lives too. Now I can contact many people all over the world in onw second, and see their pictures, and remember the good times that we had with our friends too. Also there are many groups that we can be with people such as our school groups, Religious group and sport group, etc. Moreover, We can play different games at different levels with other people in our network or outside our network. Also we can download some books and read about different things. And all these things change our life; Facebook kind of makes every communication easier because people want to be in touch with their friends and their family, so they find the Facebook website, and they enjoy their time and having new friends.

In what places is it a real problem when a cell phone rings?
I think that if a cell phone rings during a meeting or conference, it could be a real problem. It should not happen for both the speaker and the audience. Usually, if a cell phone rings during these times people can't concentrate. Also, if it happened in audience, a speaker would be in trouble becaue it would be hard to think about what the speaker is goning to say next. So, we need to make sure cell phoones are off before have a meeting or a conference. It is manner, also.
People also get in trouble when cell phones go off at the wrong times, for example, talking about important contract with a business partner. If a cell phone went off during a talk about business, it can change the terms of a business contract. Also, the partner could easily change his thinking about you. And it could change the partner's mind because of the cell phone that just went off. Businessman need to make sure their cell phone's battery is charged before calling about important things, also. -Moon-

Do you know what Facebook mean? Facebook is a website on the Internet. Everyone can have his own account in this website. This website changed many things in my life. I found many friends in this website. I like it because some of my friends who I found there were with me in high school. You can find your friend by just writing his or her name. Many people like this site because it is the easy way to find your friend and the only thing that you need to know is his or her name. Facebook is a good way for the people who like to meet other people. The boys like it because they can find many girls, and the girls like it because they can find many boys.

Facebook became part of my life after I started using it. I signed in to Facebook before coming to America, because one of my friends invited me to Facebook. However, I hesitated to use it because of all of the letters were written in English. I still hesitate to take quizzes on Facebook, because their English uses slang and too difficult vocabulary for me. On the other hand, Facebook is a useful tool to learn fresh English. Of course I can connect with many friends, but not only connect with friends but learn English for foreign language speakers. Definitely Facebook increases the time to sit down in front of my computer, but it is worthwhile I think. Especially, CESL friends, I mean we will separate pretty soon, but we can still connect with each other using English. I wrote a comment on her picture; she went back to her home country some month ago, but still we are connected. Also, some teachers sent me a message when SIUC closed because of snow. I checked Facebook before going to class and before going to bed every day. I think I am addicted to Facebook.

Cell phone rings…
Hello! Nowadays we can rarely see the people do not have a cell phone. Cell phone is a part of people’s lives. There are lots of advantages of having a cell phone; however, in some way there shouldn’t be a cell phone in some places, such as at the hospitals, schools or universities, funerals, churches or temples or movie theaters.
On the other hand, there are some problems if our cell phones went off at the wrong time. For example, if we are traveling by the train, and suddenly our cell phone battery goes down, we might be in trouble. We couldn’t get any calls. We couldn’t communicate to our family if we might have some harm. If people are traveling by car, and imagine if the tire might become flat; at that time we need a cell phone to contact the towing person. If we are at a hospital, at any moment we might need to contact someone, so that also will help us. Sometimes we get bored from something, so we need to play a video game on cell phone to be stress free. I think the cell phone is the ideal technology of the world. People are handicapped without the cell phone.

Ringing cell phone in the public place
In an information-based society, the cell phone is one of the important items to get information and maintain communication. As the number of cell phones increased, it makes more problems like making a place noisy and causing ill manners, especially in public places such as in the classroom, subway and library. It has become a problem that some people who use cell phones make others feel uncomfortable. Sometimes unique ring tones such as some song or sound make people feel unique because it shows other people as different than other people. However, ringing in the classroom and library can cause a different reaction from other people. Furthermore, it is not a matter that is supposed to be allowed in that kind of place. Some countries tried to make a system that makes it so people cannot use cell phones in public place, where it is not supposed to be used. In that kind of place, cell phones do not work, so a ringing cell phone cannot bother people.

Place where cell phone is hard to handle
Cell phones are very useful in today's world. It is part of technology and this development connects people all over the world. Even though they are useful to our daily lives, they still give some problems with cancer. There are many places where a cell phone may not ring. An example is at the airport, when you are ready to go to the plane, it is strictly prohibited. When the flight is already in the air, you are not allowed to turn on your cell phone because it may create some interference with the system of the engine. That is why people usually do not turn on their phone on the plane. Another place where we should not turn on our cell is at the hospital, especially in the surgery room, because it would disturb the doctor's concentration in doing the surgery on the patient. A situation where a cell phone went off and it was a huge problem, was in a business conference with another firm, and the power ran out. They lost the business and everything that went with that business, because the power ran out. The cause is the power ran out and the cell phone died. It was very bad and made people uncomfortable about what was going to happen next.

Place Where it is Hard to Take Cell Phone
Nowadays, most people have their own cell phone. Places where we use a cell phone are very important. For example, one place is a classroom. In the classroom, when a cell phone is ringing, if it is an important call, the student will answer it. It will impair the atmosphere of the classroom. Also, if a student is doing a presentation, he or she will be confused and fail his or her presentation. Another place is the theater and cinema. When a phone is ringing, many people are interrupted by its sound. If it is at a piano recital or an opera, it is a very rude action. Many people will have their fantastic nighttime spoiled. So, we have to be careful using a cell phone in these places.

The interesting place to buy food
There are many places that you can buy your food from. The most interesting place for people is the International Grocery. It is interesting because you can see many different kinds of food. When you go to the International Grocery you will see many different kinds of food and some food that you may not have seen before. You can try some food from some other countries that you do not have in your country. When you try that food you may like it or not, but when you try it you will have more experiences about the other countries food. You can find any food that you want. It is interesting because you will see many kinds of food and when you go to the International Grocery it will be like traveling around the world. When you are interested in the food you can go to the International Grocery and save your time because you do not have to travel around the world to see the food from the other countries. If you have not visited any international grocery store, then you should visit one to see what kind of food other countries have.

A Real problem When a Cell Phone Rings
I feel embarrassed when my cell phone rings in public places such as the bus, the subway, the theater, the hospital, the bank, etc. It is rude. So, I always keep my cell phone set on vibrate mode or silent mode. In Korea (also, in United States), if your cell phone rings during the lecture, it is very rude. So, there are some rules about this in public schools in Korea. Actually, it depends on what your teacher’s policy is. When I was a high school student, my school had a rule that teacher can take a student’s cell phone for one month if it rang during class. I have experienced my teacher seizing my cell phone three times. That was not good. With them, every public school in Korea has a rule that student can not keep their cell phone during the exams. If your cell phone rang during the exam, you could fail in the exam. I think this situation is the worst situation. In my case, my cell phone went off when I lost my way during school field trip. Fortunately, I found my teacher and friends. At that time, I felt really scared about being lost in a new place. I could not contact anybody. In this kind of emergency, a cell phone requires full charged battery.

Problem with phone call
After the invention of the phone, it became easier and easier for people to keep in contact with each other, especially when the cell phone came out because people coukd call their friends anywhere and any time without any problems. However, no problem is not true because nothing is completely perfect. When it is Valentines` day and you are having a candle dinner with you girlfriend and as you are flirting with her, your cell phone rings. First, no matter whether is a male or a female, your girlfriend may think that you do not treasure the time spent with her and may be angry. Second, if that is not a man but a woman, you will be in a big trouble. Your girlfriend may ask about your relationship because what kind of relation with a girl will make her call you on Valentines` day. If your girlfriend thinks in that way, tragedy is coming around the corner. You are unable to be optimistic any more because the results of this situation may be bad or nothing, but there is no good. One possibility is your girlfriend may finish the dinner with you but not activity to talk and she will be angry with you for a couple of days. This is the lightest “punishment”. The other is the most serious result that she will leave without any words which may puzzle you but means you are done… So when you are in a very place with a specific person, especially your girlfriend, you would be better turning off everything that may ring and disturb you.

Food
In my opinion, the most interesting place to buy food is at the cinema, I like that feeling the best. I can buying two tickets with my boyfriend and waiting for the film I am going to watch what kind of mood I would have at that time? It would be great. And then, we could go buy some food to eat, such as popcorn, coke and candies, etc. That would be so sweet and interesting. Watching an attractive film, sitting beside my boyfriend and eating good tasting food; in this situation, anyone could become the most happy person in the world. Therefore, I think it is very interesting to buy food in a cinema, not only for eating but also the romantic atmosphere would be prevail ant out in the cinema.

Problems of cell phones
Nowadays, it is no wonder that people have cell phones, especially in advanced countries. We have cell phones all of the time and when we need to talk about something, we can contact people anytime by using cell phones without meeting directly. Even though cell phones are convenient, during conferences, classes, and tests, they cause some problems. During conferences, when a cell phone rings, it is very rude to the speaker. Because of the ring, everyone might lose concentration and forget what they are talking about. In tests at school, cell phones bother all students who are taking the tests. Particularly when they take a listening test or something like that, they cannot listen and then cannot answer. It is a big problem for an entrance examination. That is why before we take tests, teachers say “turn off the ring tone” every time. We should not forget to turn off our call phones during serious situations.

Cell Phone Problems
There are many places that when the cell phone rings it is a problem. Meetings, Jail and school are some of that places that when the cell phone ring is a problem, because some of these places, the cell phones are not allowed and it is not respectful to have it in front of the people who work there. When people have meetings and someone has his or her cell phone on they will not respect and deal with the guy who has the cell phone. If does not care about the people who want to work with him, they will not care about him too. Also there are a lot of problematic situations when the cell phone is turned off, such as an accident happens, running out of the gas, getting sick or your wife about to give birth to a new child. All these examples are very dangerous when your cell phone is turned off because when you have an accident nobody can see you and you hurt. Also when your wife is pregnant and you are outside of the house when she is about to give birth, she will hurt because you didn't get her to the hospital. We have to put our cell phones in the charger to have the cell phone on and be able to take care of accidents like that.

Internet shopping
Now people can shop from the Internet instead of going to the Mall. But the problem is that shopping from the Internet is more volatile that shopping at the Mall, so I would like to give some advice that can help the people care about their money more than they do. People should look at the websites and if they are fake or not before they put their Credit or Visa Card number in, because some of the hackers can make a fake page and use it for stealing people's Credit or Visa Card number and steal your money too. Also people should have a security program to block the strange websites and strange messages that can let the other people see your card information. Moreover, some of the people who shop from the internet do not go to the Malls and shop there, because they think the Internet stores are cheaper than the Malls, but my advice is that they have to compare the prices between the priced in the internet and the prices in the Malls, because sometimes the Malls have nice discounts for people. So if the prices are cheaper in the Mall, it is better to go and shop there more than the internet. Also when people shop from the internet they should put the right address and the right information in because people might lose their stuff if they are going to put in the wrong information. Finally, do not shop in front of somebody that you don't know very well, because he or she might steal the card number and use it.

Technology
Lately people should use be careful when buying something on Internet, although shopping on Internet is very convenient. We have to see if the shopping sites are official, and what the material or sizes of products are. It is easy for you to make mistakes shopping on line, because we really can not see what we are going to buy seeing by taking it in our hands. For example, it often happens that you find the products that you bought do not fit you or are a different color than what you expected, when they arrive. In my case, I bought posters of my favorite singer, they were so big and much better than I expected. However, we should be careful about fraud and having our money taken by them. And some sites might sell false products to people. Therefore, on line shopping is enough to enjoying to see or to buy for some people. We can find rare goods on line shopping some times. we should just watch out and evaluate on line shopping. Then you can enjoy shopping.
